The oil pressure gauge falls into the everything-else group of gauges - please check the gauges primer for more info.  Oil pressure would normally run between 20psi and 70psi with the stock oil pressure regulator.  Oil pressure can also fluctuate a bit depending on oil weight, so keep that in mind if you're changing oil weights.  High oil pressures are not necessarily that bad, but low oil pressures is danger.  At 4kRPM, you should see at least 50psi of oil pressure - any lower means something is wrong.

Racing Beat recommends oil pressure for stock oil pressure regulator should be ~71psi over 3,000RPM and minimim 15psi at idle.
