The silicone/Teflon replacements are hardier and will probably outlast the life of
the engine. The seal is made from a silicone core wrapped with a Teflon outer
jacket. Yes, these can be reused if the outer Teflon jacket has not been
compromised. Better and cheaper than stock OEM replacements!
This is probably the same stuff that Hayes sells for $25/each!
