Mazda had designed the
Dynamic Tracking Stabilizing System(DTSS) into the rear suspension of all the
FC3S to prevent hideous oversteer under severe cornering. Although a very
good concept for mass consumers, racers can't stand DTSS under demanding
conditions.
Racing Beat makes a "Rear Suspension Upright Toe Eliminator"
bushing (part number 14050, US$40.00 for the pair) that replaces the stock,
rubber DTSS bushings with Delrin bushings. After install, the rear is more
predictable under heavy cornering.
