The main fuel filter is located on the driver's side of the firewall, below the brake master cylinder.  For your safety, you'll need to prevent fuel from spilling once the hoses have been removed from the old fuel filter.  You can use a bolt to plug the fuel lines temporarily.  Have lots of rags handy for this job, as you will be spilling gasoline.  Be very careful when tackling this job as gasoline is very flammable and highly irritating chemical when it contacts skin.  It is also recommended to change the fuel hose clamps on both ends of the main fuel filter.

It is helpful to have the driver's side of the car lifted to access underneath the chassis for the lower main fuel filter hose.  Make sure to use jack stands under the car for your safety!
