The carpet in an FC3S is typical of most synthetic carpets in most modern production automobiles.  Most stains can be removed with most off-the-shelf automotive carpet cleaners from the local auto parts stores or most department stores.  Carpets do fade from age and sun light.  Mats can go a long way to minimize wear&tear to footwells, where the majority of foot traffic happens.
