Check the clutch hydraulics to see if they are working properly. You can have
a friend press the clutch pedal while you watch the clutch slave cylinder actuate the
top of the clutch fork on the top of the transmission. On rare occasions, the
clutch fork can pop off, the pivot ball can break, or the clutch fork can bend or
crack.

Confirm the transmission has good transmission fluid in it. If for some reason the
transmission fluid all drained, the transmission would eventually seize up due to no
lubrication.

If you are unable to shift the transmission into any gear, this becomes a major problem.
With the engine off, try to shift the transmission - does it shift with the engine off?
If so, a dead pilot bearing could be preventing the transmission to shift while the engine
is running.

If the problem is isolated to one particular gear or several gears (but not all gears),
it could be synchros and / or gears could be damaged.
