The anti-sway bars (or "sway bars") are usually not the problem, but end links and support brackets can break.  Support brackets with loose bolts can shear the bolt due to excessive movement - double-check bolts and re-torque to factory spec when possible.  Due to the harsh condition under the chassis, anti-seize compound is recommended on the threads on all fasteners to prevent corrosion.  When inspecting end links and support brackets, inspect the rubber bushings for condition.  Rubber bushings that are obviously worn should be replaced.  Energy Suspension offers polyurethane replacement bushings that are superior to the OEM stock rubber bushings.
